Amby's Ltd was founded in 2004. The founder has a two year old son and a four year old daughter who were learning Nursery Rhymes, as do all small children. The founder noticed that there were many Nursery Rhyme books and CDs but no DVDs. In an age where households with DVD players have grown from 1 in 20 in 2000 to almost half of all homes own at least one DVD player in 2004.

The founder thought that it was time to bring Nursery Rhymes into the 21 st century, so with the help of colleagues and an up to date PC Amby's Ltd was founded and this DVD collection were produced.
